The Adansonia 5 Stage rope sizer is used to form a consistent candy rope to supply multiple types of cut & wrap machinery. The confectionery rope sizer can be supplied candy from either a batch roller or an extruder.

From the batch roller or extruder, the candy is fed into the vertical rollers fitted with drive pins, ensuring a consistent feed to the four sets of horizontal rollers, each set of rollers reducing the mass down into a smaller roper diameter. The rollers can be accurately adjusted by use of hand levers with a graduated indicator.

All sets of sizing rollers are electrically heated and simmerstat controlled.
